We are seeking a motivated, community-minded student intern from Central Oregon Community College (COCC) or Oregon State University - Cascades to join our nonprofit development team for the 2026/2027 academic year.
This is a unique opportunity for a student interested in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, international development, social justice, communications, and community impact to gain direct, hands-on experience working alongside nonprofit professionals engaged in anti-trafficking and community development work in Ghana, West Africa.
This internship is ideal for a student who believes in mission-driven work, enjoys building relationships, is curious about how nonprofit operates, and wants practical experience in fundraising, donor engagement, grant writing, and nonprofit strategy. The selected intern will work directly with Monique Vandan'Aklie, a longtime nonprofit professional with extensive experience building and scaling community-based organizations, fundraising systems, and grassroots development initiatives.
